Ries

When we first got our Jack Russell Terrier puppy at 7 weeks old, we had no idea how much Ries was going to change our life. And by change I mean waking up in the middle of the night for house training, running home at lunch for house training and how much unconditional love we both have for her. We searched the internet for Puppy Day Care in our area and decided on Command Pawformance. We met with Pete the day before Thanksgiving for our evaluation. When we scheduled the meeting over the phone, we expected to be there for 10 - 15 minutes. We were there for an hour! Pete started some basic training right on the spot. I should have called sooner but I was under the impression Ries needed her rabies shot before she could start school. Of the three services offered, we decided to send Ries to day school at Command Pawformance. This was the best decision we made! Instead of Ries sitting home alone all day in her crate while we are at work, she gets to play with other dogs and learn things like sit, down, and walking off leash. She comes home exhausted!

Pete and Sean are professional, friendly, love each of the dogs as if they were their own and always have advice when needed. Ries still has her moments, but that's more us than her. As owners we have to do our homework too and reinforce everything Pete and Sean teach them. We like Command Pawformance so much Ries is now going to day school four days a week and attends either a group class or agility class weekly. Any dog would be lucky to play and learn at Command Pawformance.

Simba

Dear Peter and his staff,
Its my pleasure to write this letter to brag about all the good things that your school has done for our dog. I originally started Simba with private lessons and progressed to group classes. It has made such a difference in how I handle my dog. Simba lives with me and my husband and our 4 cats. Next door to us is our grandchildren, 2 and 4, and right the very beginning it was very important that he learned how to be a good dog and for us to also learn how to be good dog owners. CommandPawformance has taught us how to do all that. We try to take Simba with us wherever we go and we constantly get compliments on how well behaved he is. Yes it took work and dedication on my part but with your help it has been worth every minute of my time. I can also say that no matter how many group classes that we go to I still walk away learning something new. Peter's staff is always willing to help and it been a pleasure to work with all of them. Simba is also a proud recipient of the Canine Good Citizen's Award. In August he turned 2 years old and we still go to group classes, not as often but we still try to go at least once a month. I think it's good for him to stay in practice and to continue the interaction he has with all the new dogs
Thanks, Denise Corcoran

Bristow

To Pete and Staff,
What can I say? When I first brought Bristow home I thought "this will be a breeze" but little did I know...
Thank God I found you and your staff at Command Pawformance! We went from nearly giving our dog away to learning to teach him in a way he actually enjoys. I can't say enough about how well-behaved he is around other dogs and also any company we have. I would recommend you guys to any dog owner! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Minnie

Dear Peter and the Command Pawformance Team,
Training is not just for "big dogs" Our first "child" Minnie got a great start in life with your team at Command Pawformance. We wanted to make sure that even though she was always going to be a small dog, (7 lbs. full grown) that Minnie was trained and socialized. Since we were both working, we also wanted to make sure that Minnie didnt spend long days home alone. The training and positive environment at Command Pawformance Day School were great for Minnie. More importantly, you taught us how to work with her. Through group classes, you trained us to help her earn her Canine Good Citizen. People are always impressed when they see how obedient she is when we are out walking in the neighborhood. Most people dont expect little dogs to be trained but we think it makes people enjoy her more making her life even happier!
Minnie just got two human sisters our twin newborns, Paige and Jacklyn and she is WONDERFUL with them cautious and respectful. The attached picture is her showing off her "BANG" command with the babies. Thank you for all you have done for all the dogs and people that are lucky enough to know about Command Pawformance, especially Minnie and her family!

Sidney's Success Story

Hi Pete and Everyone,
This note is long overdue. I want to thank you for training me and Sidney. If it wasn't for all of you, she would not be the loveable, sweet dog that she is. We have not forgotten all the training. She listens very well, and is such a pleasure. Sid wanted me to tell you she misses you and loves you all.
Love, Pat & Sidney

Jaeger the Lab

Dear Peter & the Command Pawformance Staff,
We just wanted to thank you for all the amazing work you have done with our not so little Jaeger. We take him almost everywhere with us and people are in awe at how well-behaved he his, especially for his young puppy age (currently 7 months). We receive compliments on "our" training of Jaeger and we always tell people its not us, its Command Pawformance. You guys do a great job at not only training the dogs, but also their owners. No matter what question you have about your dog or training, the staff always has an answer and is willing to help out. If there is a particular thing you would like to train your dog to do, they are happy to help you with training techniques. Recently they are helping us get Jaeger accustomed to jumping into and sitting in a canoe. Even when we brought Jaeger in for his evaluation, Peter provided us with a lot of extremely useful training tips, even though he didn't know if we were going to utilize the services provided by Command Pawformance. Seeing that someone was so willing to share knowledge like this so openly for the benefit of the dog versus personal gain, I know this was the best place for Jaeger.

We get a kick out of how Jaeger still gets excited about going to day school. Just the other morning he was nudging my husband's legs and then sitting by the door as though to say "Lets go, its day school time". There are even times when Jaeger is so excited to go to school that when we have him sit outside the door to school, his paws are moving up & down as though he wants to run through the door to see all his doggie & trainer friends. We truly believe the combination of training and fun Command Pawformance provides Jaeger, along with the patience, knowledge, care and good nature of its staff is why Jaeger is the obedient dog he is. We have nothing but great praise and appreciation for Peter and the rest of the Command Pawformance staff. We just can't thank you enough.

Zorra

Dear Pete and Staff,
I want to thank all of you at Command Pawformance for all of the excellent work you've done with Zorra. She has turned out to be a wonderful dog and I can't thank you enough!
It is clear that all of you take your jobs seriously and are very good at what you do and that is why I have loved bringing Zorra to Command Pawformance. I already have and will continue to recommend you to many people. Keep up the good work!
Sincerely,
Elaine Misuraca and Zorra

Buddy

To sum things up in one sentence, Command Pawformance was Heaven-sent and Peter is a miracle worker!
Buddy was an ornery, rambunctious, hyper, little puppy when we started day school with him at 12 weeks old. Being a Home Daycare Provider, it was imperative for the safety of thechildren I look after that I learn how to correct Buddy's behavior and gain control of him.
Command Pawformance was highly recommended to me by a woman I was "chit-chatting" with in line at the grocery store. After just one class, it was amazing to see the difference in Buddy's temperament. Having time constraints because of working with children all day and being a mother of three, I didn't have the time needed to work with Buddy. Therefore, besides the convenient hours, day school two days per week with Peter transformed Buddy into the much calmer and more obedient dog we had hoped for. Of course, it took (and will continue to take) commitment and consistent work from our family to reinforce what Peter has taught Buddy, but it was the best decision we have ever made for our dog.
It's so funny to see how much Buddy looks forward to going to to school and especially for him to see all of his friends - both dogs and trainers. When we pull into the parking lot, Buddy can't get to the door fast enough and when he sees Peter it's all he can do to control himself through his excitement.
Peter and all the trainers at Command Pawformance are great and it's simply the best all-around Obedience School there is.

Tabitha

Command Pawformance has been a blessing to our family. We adopted Tabitha from Buddy Dog Rescue in Sudbury, MA. in June of 2004. She was a street dog from Puerto Rico with a very little known history other than abuse. We took our chances and adopted this skinny and timid dog because we saw potential in her. She didn't understand English and our Spanish was poor, but we did want to teach her some basic commands and we needed help.
We met Peter at Command Pawformance shortly after we got Tabitha and knew right away that he and his staff would be able to meet Tabitha's needs. He took the time to earn her trust and won her over with time and patience. The trained staff worked with her a couple of days a week and the results have been amazing! Our Tabitha now knows a number of commands and she has flourished socially. The dog with the tail between her legs that would shake and hide has now learned to play with other dogs and enjoy her new found trust in people again. Thank you, Command Pawformance, for your patience, kindness, knowledge, and care.
